Status

Fairly common in western Maryland and steadily expanding its range east and south in Maryland. Records on the coastal plain have been increasing in recent years with sightings now regular in northern Anne Arundel and southern Baltimore Counties. St. Mary's County had its first record on 3/21/2015. Somerset County had its first record on 5/26/2024. Worcester County had its first record on 3/15/2025.
