Description
Cap: Yellow to tawny-ochraceous; broadly convex to funnel-shaped in age; margin incurved, thin, wavy in age; flesh white, tough; odor sweet, anise-like. Gills: Decurrent; close; edges finely serrated. Stalk: Color similar to cap to reddish-brown; central or eccentric (J. Solem, pers. comm.).
Where To Find
Scattered, groups on decaying hardwood (J. Solem, pers. comm.).
