Status

Found solitary, scattered on ground in conifer forests.

Description

Cap: White to buff/gray (dark brown in age); broadly convex to flat with depressed center in age; viscid when wet; margin inrolled; white flesh slowly turns pink when bruised or cut, then gray. Gills: White / cream; close; subdecurrent. Stalk: White, bruising reddish-brown; flesh white, turning pink when bruised, then gray. (J. Solem, pers. comm.)
