Description

Compare very similar Xanthocaecilius sommermanae. Mockford (1988) notes the following: "This species [quillayute] is very close to sommermanae, and when variation in both species is well understood, they may prove to be the same species."

Xanthocaecilius quillayute is a species of lizard barklouse in the family Caeciliusidae.[1][2][3] It is found in North America.[2]
