Status
The caterpillar of this undescribed moth species creates a blotch or linear-blotch mine in and cuts out an oval pupal case from blueberry leaves. Mines have been found in Vermont, Massachusetts, and North Carolina and should be looked for on its host plants in Maryland (Eiseman, 2021: 1615). This species has records in BOLD BIN BOLD:ACG8653 and is closely related to the huckleberry feeder Coptodisca magnella (BOLD:ADL1394).
Relationships
Larval host plants include Northern Highbush Blueberry and Hairy Highbush Blueberry (Eiseman, 2021).
