Status

Blue-fronted Dancer (Argia apicalis) is an abundant and successful damselfly, able to breed in a large variety of habitats, usually rivers or creeks, but also sometimes found at lakes (Paulson, 2011). This species appears to have some tolerance of low water quality, and is often one of the few species found in areas of marginal habitat.
