Status
Commonly occurs throughout Maryland in a variety of open habitats. In Maryland, Flat-topped Goldenrod is the only species in the genus Euthamia that is found on the Piedmont and through the mountainous regions of western Maryland.
Description
Leaves with 3-5 major veins, 5-12mm wide, not boldly punctate on upperside of leaves.
Relationships
Host plant for various moth species including Epiblema desertana (Gilligan, Wright, & Gibson, 2008).
