The Pale Beauty Moth is considered a host plant generalist. There has been over 60 species of host plants recorded for this species including: American Basswood, Yellow Birch, Red Maple, Sugar Maple, and American Elm. Pale Beauty Moth caterpillars have also been observed feeding on various species of pine, willow, and poplars.
