Found scattered or in groups on ground in deciduous or coniferous woods.

Description

Cap: Bluish-gray; convex to somewhat upturned in age, radially streaked; may smell of anise. Gills: Whitish; close. Stalk: White/buff; base with prominent white mycelium. (J. Solem, pers. comm.)
