In Maryland, the Susquehanna Doll's-daisy is restricted to the river scour prairies of the Susquehanna River in Harford County. According to the Maryland DNR Natural Heritage Program, the Susquehanna Doll's-daisy was, "Historically collected along the Susquehanna in 1902 and 1924 from 'Rocky islands on the Susquehanna', and hypothesized to have been perhaps extirpated by construction of the Conowingo Dam. Recently rediscovered by Jack Holt and Janet Ebert. This species will be the subject of intensive inventory and monitoring efforts in 2017."
